Sealed bids for roto-milling and asphalt overlay for Several City Streets in the City of Woodson Terrace will be received at Woodson Terrace City Hall, 4323 Woodson Road, Woodson Terrace, MO 63134 until 10:00 a.m. on Monday, June 22, 2026 and at that time publicly opened and read.  The project includes       3520 Tons of Asphalt and 31,500 Sq. Yds of milling with other related items. Contact the City Clerk, at City Hall for bid packages, available after Monday, June 1, 2026.  Any other questions should be directed to Vijay K. Bhasin, P.E., Consulting Engineer.

All bids must be accompanied by a cashier's check or certified check drawn on a solvent Missouri bank or trust company made payable to the City of Woodson Terrace, or a bid bond issued by a surety licensed to conduct business in the state of Missouri, in the amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid. The bid bond may be retained by the City as a guarantee that if the proposal is accepted, the bidder will execute the contract and file an acceptable performance payment bond within seven (7) days after notice of the award of the contract.

The Documents can be procured from the City Hall with cash or money order or certified check of One-Hundred Dollars ($100.00) payable to the City of Woodson Terrace. The City encourages the contractors to follow the policy recommendations of Federal Committee on Apprenticeship of the United States Department of Labor. All bidders must agree to comply with the Prevailing Wage Rate Provisions and other statutory regulations including City Ordinance. Bidders also agree to provide proof of compliance with OSHA training requirements set out in RSMo. 292.675. Contractor shall also provide proof of enrollment in a federal work authorization program such as E-Verify.

The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to waive all informalities in bids. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days. All workmanship will meet the standards of the industry and will carry at least one year’s warranty.
