Ward II Alderman
Joseph Ray Earls was elected to represent Ward 2 in 2026. A lifelong member of the North County community, Joseph grew up in Breckenridge Hills and has proudly called Woodson Terrace home for the past five years. He and his wife purchased their home from her uncle, planting roots in a neighborhood they both care deeply about.
Earls represents Ward 2 on the Board of Aldermen.Joseph brings 25 years of experience in the janitorial industry, where he works as a Day Porter. His long career in this field has shaped his strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to serving others—qualities he now brings to his role on the Board of Aldermen.
Guided by the values of family, integrity, compassion, and community, Joseph is dedicated to making Woodson Terrace a place where families can thrive. Outside of public service, he enjoys spending time with his family, taking vacations together, and coaching youth baseball. As a proud “baseball family,” the Earls household is often found at the ballfield or participating in local sports. They also attend many of the community events hosted by the City of Woodson Terrace.
Joseph appreciates the close‑knit nature of the city and loves watching his children grow up alongside their friends. His motivation to serve comes from a desire to help shape the future of Woodson Terrace and ensure it remains a welcoming, family‑centered community. One of his goals as alderman is to support and expand community events that bring neighbors together.
