Ryan Marshall is a lifelong resident of Woodson Terrace and proudly represents Ward 1 on the Board of Aldermen. First elected in 2026, he brings a steady, detail‑oriented approach shaped by his background in building inspection and his deep roots in the community he has always called home.
Ryan is an ICC-certified residential building inspector, certified in 2023. He is committed to clear standards, consistency, and accountability, values that guide both his public service and how he approaches community issues. He believes in treating people fairly, following through, and making sure basic services are done right.
Outside of city service, Ryan enjoys staying active, working on projects around his home and yard, following Cardinals baseball, and cooking — especially barbecue. He follows the analytical side of the game closely and enjoys learning the “why” behind the numbers. Ryan is close with his family. His sister and brother‑in‑law own a bar and grill in neighboring St. Ann, and he takes pride in helping out locally whenever he can.
What Ryan appreciates most about Woodson Terrace is the people — the kindness of neighbors, the pride residents take in their homes, and the dedication of City Hall staff and the police department. His decision to run for alderman grew from seeing opportunities to strengthen consistency in basic services and ensure that residents receive the level of reliability they deserve.
Ryan’s priorities include maintaining dependable city services, supporting public safety, and promoting clear, fair standards applied consistently across the community. He is also focused on the long‑term future of Woodson Terrace, including thoughtful development along Woodson Road that reflects community pride and creates places residents can enjoy.
