Alderwoman Lisa Walton has lived in the Woodson Terrace area her entire life, growing up near the border of Woodson Terrace and Berkeley/St. John. She has proudly called Woodson Terrace home since 1998, and she cares deeply for the community she serves.
For the past 18 years, Lisa has worked in the insurance industry and currently serves full‑time as a commercial insurance underwriter. Her life is grounded in her faith, her family, and the close friends who enrich her daily experiences. She finds joy in pouring into others and spending time with her parents, her three siblings, and her beloved “eight‑pack” of nieces and nephews.
Lisa appreciates that Woodson Terrace reflects the same family‑centered values she holds dear. She feels fortunate to live on a block where neighbors are truly friends—people who look out for one another and contribute to the strong sense of community that defines the city.
