Our mission is to provide essential services, preserve peace and order, reduce the occurrence and impact of crime, facilitate traffic safety, and protect the constitutional rights of all persons. We will continually examine community values, our beliefs, and re-evaluate priorities. We will inaugurate effective responses to promote and maintain services and protection for this community.

CALEA Public Comment Portal
We are currently in the process of becoming an accredited agency through the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies "CALEA". This means our agency voluntarily meet an established set of professional standards.
The purpose of this public portal is to receive comments regarding an agency's compliance with CALEA standards, engagement in the service community, delivery of public safety services, and overall candidacy for accredited status. These comments can be in the form of commendations or concerns. The overall intent of the accreditation process is to provide the participating agency with information to support continuous improvement, as well as foster the pursuit of professional excellence.
