REGARDING CASE STATUS AND WARRANT STATUS

*IMPORTANT UPDATE-YOU WANT TO READ THIS*

MuniCourt.Net is an Online System created by REJIS and pertains to most citations issued from Woodson Terrace before 2020, for people to follow their court case(s) 24/7. It will provide you your Citation Number if you want to make payment online for an allowable charge.

Case Net is a Judicial response in Missouri to an Online System (SMC) designed for people to follow their court case 24/7. Case Net would apply for tickets issued from Woodson Terrace since 2020.

In the Search Bar NOT the URL bar, type in either;

municourt.net OR casenet mo

Whichever applies to you.

In casenet you can search by your name or ticket#, and click on “docket entries”.

If you need your ticket number, search by your name and it provides you your number.

Case Status should be updated within 2 wks from your last court date.

This information is provided to you in 2 ways:

1) It is recommended you search Online, for simple information such as Court Date, Payment Status, etc.

If you do not have personal access to an Online System access is available at local libraries, OR you may appear at the court windows in the Government Building with proof of State ID or DL.

2) All information is provided to you by EMAIL OR the USPS.

This is the reason why it is your responsibility to notify the court with a change of address, or if your address is different than the address on your citation, the court would not possibly know when someone has had a change of address unless advised. Following this rule “could” prevent finding yourself in Warrant Status.

Our Court is currently still Virtual via WebEx and that information is also provided to you via your email or last known mailing address.

·         For those DEFENDANTS who received their citations PRIOR To 2010; you will need to speak to a court clerk, as tickets issued from a court system that far back do not have the 24/7 online access. PLEASE state this exception at the beginning of your call.

AGAIN; Case Status is usually updated within 2 wks from your last court date.

PAYMENTS made Mon thru Fri begin 8:30a.m. at the court windows and no later than;

 3pm for SMC (w/the exception of holidays),

by 3:45pm for PLUS/REJIS (w/the exception of holidays and on court dates 3pm).

If you do not appear at the court windows before or by 3pm with payment by your scheduled payment court date, then you MUST appear in virtual court that night. DUE to the Court now becoming both Virtual and In-Person the court clerks no longer take payments during court.

Court Staff cannot provide continuances.

§  If you missed your court date due to an emergency, proof of that emergency should be faxed to 314-427-0571 to the attention of the court.

§  If you are represented by an Attorney, you would want to call your attorney in lieu of court staff.
