The City Clerk’s Office handles a variety of responsibilities. Permits, occupancy inspections, money coming into the city and being dispersed by the city, and business and liquor licenses all come from this department.
The department also takes care of residential needs such as the creation of swimming pool passes, issuance of dog and cat licenses, as well as taking reservations for use of city hall and the pavilions at the park. In fact, the office answers an average of 100 phone calls a day and more during court week.
The City Clerk prepares the budgets each year for the Administration, Court, City Clerk, City Collector and Treasurer.
Please feel free to contact the office if you have any questions.
