How You Can Help
Prevent spills when working outdoors by using drip pans or drop cloths.
Clean up spills by sweeping them. Apply absorbents first if needed.
Store chemicals, cleaners, fluids, paint supplies and other similar materials indoors or under cover in leak-proof containers.
Properly dispose of unused chemicals, cleaners, and other household hazardous wastes.
Never blow or rake yard waste into drains, inlets, ditches, or directly into waterways.
